We Bridge the Opportunity Gap ... Equipping Our Students to Close the Achievement Gap

Education Foundation of Bloomington

CHANGES TO THE 2020 CHIP in for SCHOOLS GOLF CLASSIC

The Education Foundation of Bloomington has decided to cancel the Chip in for Schools Golf Classic scheduled for July of 2020 due to concerns from Covid-19. The number of unknowns, including the current halt to tournaments at golf courses and the unknown course of the current situation, has caused us to make this difficult situation. The safety of participants and volunteers is our main consideration.

Providing an exceptional experience for our participants and sponsors is always a main objective of the EFB when planning this event.  We currently are working on plans for 2021 and the continuation of this great tradition. We thank those of you who had already committed your support and participation for this year and we look forward to seeing you on the course in 2021,

The Chip in for Schools Golf Classic is our primary fundraiser of the year.  Traditionally, funds raised with this event are used to improve and enhance the educational experience of the students of Bloomington Public Schools.  In 2019, more than $45,000 was raised.  Even though we have to cancel this year's event, the needs at our schools remains.

Would you like to continue supporting the Education Foundation of Bloomington?

The golf event may be canceled but the needs of our schools remains. Community organizations and individuals are the backbone of the Education Foundation of Bloomington and the support of our schools.  2020 thus far has proven to be a tough year for all, including our schools.  If you are an individual who was going to golf or a business/individual who was going to sponsor, please consider giving what you can.
